So if you haven't read Kiss Me: An Avon Valentine's Day Anthology, I will explain the reasons behind this post. (Although I must say, you are missing out because Cheryl, Jaclyn, and I have written a trio of awesome novellas!)
One of my favorite characters I've written to date, Gracie McAllister, is a bit of a drama queen and a lover of all musicals! Oh, and did I mention she's also guy crazy? My heroine, Ryan, didn't nickname her Ado Gracie (ref. Oklahoma's Ado Addie) for nothing!
So in honor of Gracie, my post today is my top four musical hotties (including movies, shows, or just episodes) that make me drool, sigh, and squeal over!
The Phantom of the Opera y.2004
Gerard Butler-Ugh, even his name reminds me of the sexy Rhett Butler (Gone with the Wind). This was one bad boy murdering scar faced monster I wouldn't mind being picked up and whisked away by. That voice. The way he fills out his clothes. And he rocks that mask like no other. Yum!
Buffy the Vampire Slayer S.6 E.7-Once More with Feeling
James Marsters A.K.A. Spike- So Spike has his moments of utter badness, but his raw, emotional lyrics and that smokey voice make me want to be the object of his dark obsession...Okay, I'm starting to see a pattern with musical badboys...hmmm...but he's so...bite-able!
Cory Monteith A.K.A. Finn Hudson-Not a bad boy in the least (although he does have insensitive moments) A mix of goofiness and charm, he is a sweet contradiction to my earlier choices...although, he does have random spurts of manliness and jealousy that make him hit Puck or beat up Brody, and in those scenes I have to say...Oh baby....
The Man of Many Musicals...
From Rogers and Hammerstein to partnering up with Doris Day, Gordon MacRae was a man whose deep, booming voice and clean cut good looks made him the perfect hero (or anti hero like in Carousel). I adored him in so many musicals, and he remains one of my favorite musical hunks.
What about you? What sexy music man makes you swoon?
